Historic Reconstruction
The De Hita House at 37 St. George Street is a reconstruction of a home from the First Spanish Period (1565-1763). The Historic St. Augustine Preservation Board conducted archaeological excavations and reconstructed the building in 1965. Today, De Hita House serves as part of the Colonial Quarter complex.

The Oliveros House at 59 St. George Street is a reconstruction of a coquina house from the Second Spanish Period (1783-1821). An archaeological excavation by the Historic St. Augustine Preservation Board in 1963 uncovered the original foundations. The reconstruction displayed cigar-making practices as part of San Agustín Antiguo, a living history museum.

The Benet Store at 62 St. George Street is reconstructed building from the British Period (1763-1784). The Historic St. Augustine Preservation Board reconstructed the structure on its original foundations in 1967. The Board recreated the store interior's appearance during the 1800s to use as a craft shop for San Agustín Antiguo, a living history museum.

The Historic St. Augustine Preservation Board reconstructed the building in 1964 as part of San Augustín Antiguo, a living history museum. Today, the property is managed by the University of Florida Historic St. Augustine, Inc.
