Description

The Arrivas House at 46 St. George Street is a restored home from the First Spanish Period (1565-1764). The first known structure on this property occurred between 1650 and 1670, but many structural alterations occurred over the centuries. In 1960, Arrivas House served as the first restoration project by the Historic St. Augustine Preservation Board. Based on historic and archaeological research, the Board restored Arrivas House to its appearance in the Second Spanish Period (1783-1821). Today, the property is managed by the University of Florida Historic St. Augustine, Inc.
